Development Power Electronic Engineer



Development Power Electronic Engineer (Ideally someone Educated to degree level in Electrical/Electronic engineering with specialisation in Power electronics) Located in the Staffordshire area to Develop detailed design specification for power converter and associated components.



Your role will involve:



• Capturing and Documentation of detailed requirements

• Evaluation of potential technical solutions.

• Development of design solutions.

• Liaison with Suppliers

• Production of detailed technical specification for procured items

• Validation of components/equipment in laboratory/wind turbines

• Other duties, as necessary to meet the business objectives



You will ideally be someone with the following:



• Educated to degree level in Electrical/Electronic engineering with specialisation in Power electronics

• Industrial experience with design of power electronics for volume products, from top level design through to detailed design, and verification

• Good communications skills written & Verbal

• Willingness to periodically travel
