AX Developer - to 50K immediate start Stoke on Tre



This is a rare opportunity to join an International company in a very attractive and uniquely growing EU wide industry. We are looking for highly flexible and well educated Senior AX developer and Supporter for our Global AX 4.0 installation.



A small highly professional and Dynamic IT team focussed on strategic business solutions. Most IT is outsourced so the team focuses on Interesting and strategic parts.

This role will be based at Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire



Education / Experience

Degree in Computer Science

Preferably Business consulting background with substantial Business Analytical skills

Experienced with working in International and multi cultural environment.

Min 5 years experience on MicroSoft Dynamics, X++, morpX, SQL, Preferably in dept knowledge of utilisations of Service management Systems integrated with AX Dynamics.



Key Responsibilities

AX administrator

Support the group in the continuous optimisation and refinement of processes, by utilising AX

Manage and lead Projects and Teams

Work closely with our user base to identify, document and implement changes according to requirements.

Create and Modify source code within AX and related systems using X++ and morpX

Write customized reports using above as well as the standard report generators within AX

General contact for third parties and suppliers regarding AX

Assist other IT areas with 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support for our users and to support our local server infrastructure, LAN and WAN’s and 2 locations in UK

Keep IT infrastructure, servers and PC’s maintained and operational according to policies and guidelines

Developing, maintaining and issuing IT Policies and Guidelines



Some travel expected as need to support Global AX roll out.

Package

Salary £45k - £50k dependant on skills and experience

23 holidays which will increase to 25 after 5 year’s service

Invite to the pension scheme after three months service a 3% contribution from the employee which will be met by the Employer. The employer’s contribution will increase to 5% after 5 years service

Life Insurance – 4 times basic salary

Permanent Health Assurance after three months service
